The rangers attempt to capture counterfeiters. They escape, but the rangers take the fake money into evidence. When $5 million is missing, Trivette is accused. Walker must clear Trivette's name and find the real criminals. I have always questioned if that TV reporter ever apologized to Trivette. He dragged Trivette's name through the mud, making him look like he is a crooked Texas Ranger by even editing a tape making him look. If I was a producer, I would either have fired him or pulled his show. But Trivette was proved in the end to have been not guilty. After that we heard nothing from the reporter. I assumed he was fired. Any good reporter would have done more checking than this man. It just goes to show that some people will do anything for ratings. Go figure. Come on. You would think that not only is Trivette vindicated, but we would see some kind of punishment to the reporter for being such an idiot and a liar.
